    Mount Vernon Plaza is TREND's first Ohio acquisition and newest shopping center — a 50,686 sq ft historic Columbus property. Plans include leasing vacant spaces to local entrepreneurs, attracting a regional bank, repurposing 30,000+ sq ft for workforce development and education, and developing a 47-unit multifamily building in a later phase.

    Hawthorn Crossings is a 51,459 sq ft shopping center on West Broadway Avenue in the heart of North Minneapolis's Near North corridor, purchased by TREND in September 2026. The center is home to a childcare center, laundromat, and auto shop. The acquisition marked TREND's first local investor match program, amplifying community wealth by matching investments from people who live in the neighborhood, including young investors.

    Chatham Plaza was co-owned with local entrepreneurs, teachers, and homeowners, and sold in June 2025 for $3.2 million, delivering a return on investment and proving the community-ownership model works. During TREND's ownership, new tenants including a UPS Store and H&R Block were added alongside established businesses like Athletico Physical Therapy. TREND remains on as property manager.
