Meredith Phelps

Development and Operations Associate

Meredith works alongside TREND CDC's COO on fundraising, communications, financial operations, and day-to-day operations, advancing the organization's mission of inclusive commercial real estate development and community investment nationwide. She previously interned with Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives, where she helped advance community development projects spanning job training sites, affordable housing, a health center, an environmental institute, and commercial retail. She was named a finalist for the Illinois Housing Council's Emerging Leaders Internship Program. Meredith holds a bachelor's degree from McGill University, where she majored in Political Science and Urban Studies with a minor in International Development.
