Meredith Phelps

Development and Operations Associate

Meredith works alongside our COO and the TREND CDC Corporation Team across fundraising, communications, and day-to-day operations to advance our mission of inclusive commercial real estate development and community investment nationwide. Meredith previously interned with Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives, where she worked to advance a range of community development initiatives including job training sites, affordable housing, a health center, an environmental institute, and commercial retail. She was a finalist for the Illinois Housing Council’s Emerging Leaders Internship Program. Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University, where she majored in Political Science and Urban Studies and minored in International Development.
